Consulting &
Creative Direction

For clients who are missing the last puzzle piece.

You have a production team. You have a venue. You might even have a budget approved, but you're missing the idea? Or you have a killer concept, but no idea how to execute it? That's where we come in.

Wildcard consulting means the Wildcard standard applies to everything. Even when we're not in the driver's seat, we bring our full commitment to the project and provide the support you need. Because when every element is aligned — from concept to production — the audience gets something they didn't know was possible.

How we work →

What consulting looks like

Concept development and creative brief

Mood and reference decks

Spatial briefs and layout planning

Production supervision

On-site creative direction

Coordination with suppliers and contractors

Access to our network of trusted associates

Creative oversight for the entire project

What it isn't

We're not a freelance event designer for hire by the hour. Our involvement is creative and directorial, not transactional. We hold the standard whether we're building it ourselves or guiding someone else's team.

Ways to work together

One-off concept workshop

A focused session to develop and deliver a creative concept deck for a single event. You walk away with the idea and the brief to build it.

Single event creative direction

Ongoing creative oversight from concept to curtain call. We're in the room for key decisions and on-site for the moments that matter.

Retainer for an event series

For clients running a recurring programme. We develop the creative arc across multiple events and ensure each one lands with the consistency and surprise that keeps audiences coming back.

In our experience, the best working relationships start exactly here. A consulting project becomes a co-production. A co-production becomes a retainer. It's a natural progression.
